The innovative rear extension made the most of the garden’s unusual shape, effectively utilising its distinctive layout. The double-storey extension seamlessly enlarged the existing kitchen and living space, while the ground floor area was expanded to incorporate a new gym area. Furthermore, the first-floor bedrooms were extended to cater to the increasing spatial requirements of the residents.

The site posed a challenge with several incoming and outgoing sewers, which required the redirection of drains, a procedure that received authorisation and approval from the local water authority.
